WhenElliot hears that a neighboring town has pulled thepermit on a hippie music festival, he calls the producers,thinking he could drum up some much-neededbusiness for the motel. Three weeks later, half a millionpeople are on their way to his neighbor's farm inBethel, New York, and Elliot finds himself sweptup in a generation-defining experience that wouldchange his life—and American culture—forever.
