In this wonderful guide, the author explains what BBSs are, where you can find them and what calling one is like. There is a wide variety of BBS software out there so the system you call may be very different from others. Each of the major BBS software packages is explored so that you can call with confidence, which is important considering that many BBSs give a short daily allotment of time.
