Wukovits gives further details about his subject's life and his relationship with the Nazis, especially Amon Goeth, commandant of the Plaszow labor camp, and addresses the making of the movie. Well-placed black-and-white photos accompany a thorough, well-written text. Better written than Jeremy Roberts's Oskar Schindler: Righteous Gentile (Rosen, 2000), this book is a good addition to most collections.
