Professional literature always belabors the obvious to those in the trenches: decreased time, decreased staff, decreased funding, increased duties (often inimical to public services), and patrons with no inkling of what it is they really want. Still, this is a worthwhile book?with something for everyone. It addresses the reference needs of myriad users?from the disabled to academics to the "information poor."
