Dale De Remer is the author of Seaplane Operations, Water Flying Concepts, and Global Navigation for Pilots. He is a professor emeritus of aviation at the University of North Dakota's Center for Aerospace Sciences. He also teaches advanced wilderness seaplane pilot courses. He lives in Florence, Oregon.
