About the Authors

Peter Roop, with Connie Roop, has written more than 100 books for children on topics from science to history. Their books have received numerous awards.

Peter taught elementary school for twenty-five years before becoming a full-time author and speaker. Peter sees thousands of students each year during his school visits across America. He was selected Wisconsin State Teacher of the Year in 1987.
