About the Author
Fred Bowen graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his law degree from George Washington University. He currently works for the Department of Labor. He is a youth league baseball and basketball coach and a lifelong sports fanatic. Bowen lives with his wife and two children in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Ann Barrow has created illustrations for Cricket magazine and numerous books, including several AllStar SportStory series titles. She has taught courses in children's books illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design. Barrow, her husband, and her two children live in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
