About the Author
Fred Bowen graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his law degree from George Washington University. He currently works for the Department of Labor. He is a youth league baseball coach and lifelong sports fanatic, and lives with his wife and two children in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Ann Barrow has created illustrations for Cricket Magazine and numerous books, including THE KID COACH and PLAYOFF DREAMS. She has taught courses in children's book illustration at Rhode Island School of Design. Barrow, her husband, and two children live in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
