About the Author
FRED BOWEN is the author of the highly successful AllStar SportStory series of books for kids. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, earned his law degree from George Washington University, and currently works for the Department of Labor. He is a youth league baseball coach and a lifelong sports fanatic. Bowen lives with his wife and two children in Silver Spring, Maryland.
PAUL CASALE, a native of Brooklyn, graduated from the Pratt Institute, where he won numerous awards. A member of the Society of Illustrators, he has illustrated many children's books, including titles in the Jewel Princess series and books written by Matt Christopher. He lives in New Jersey with his family.
