About the Author:

Henry I. Christ has devoted his professional life to the study of language. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree at the College of the City of New York. He taught English in the New York public schools before retiring in 1970. He is the author of more than 50 books reflecting his broad interests and expertise in language and literature. He currently resides in Florida with his wife where he continues to write and lecture at various schools, libraries, and bookstores.
