Author Barbara Wing has taught piano for over forty years and has worked with piano students at every level, both in her home and at the Levine School of Music in Washington, D.C., where she founded a continuing education program that gave more than 1,000 teachers the necessary skills to develop musical talent. She holds degrees in music from Wellesley College and the University of Maryland, and continues to perform as a duo-pianist, chamber music pianist, and lecture recitalist, playing at many venues around Washington, D.C., including the Kennedy Center.
