Prejudice is like a sneaky weed. Let it go unchallenged, and it takes over. Uproot it, and good plants can grow in its place. Hand in Hand aims to help children in grades 3 to 6 uproot prejudice by exposing them to the beauty of diversity. Each session offers a wide array of learning activities including art activities, Bible stories, computer exploration, cross-cultural dialogue, culture-based stories, drama, games, music, off-site options, puppets and more - all aimed at helping children celebrate their diversity and work toward unity. In addition to these options, leaders can choose from two formats: one for 45 minutes and one for 90 to 120 minutes.
