The authors visited each location with their children to give you complete information on each attraction—including directions, admission costs, hours of operation, and special items of interest. Now in its sixth edition, this essential guidebook for parents, grandparents, teachers, and childcare providers has been completely updated. As their children have grown older, the authors have made an effort to include the views and interests of older as well as younger children. Information includes: · Complete index · Major attractions · Museums and Historical Sites · Science and Nature · Performing Arts · Sports and Recreation · Classes and Summer Programs · Storytelling, Bookstores, and Libraries · Festivals and Special Events · Day Trips · Shopping and Hobbies · Farmers Markets and Pick Your Own · And much, much more!
