About the Author

Douglas R. Seidler, Associate AIA, NCIDQ, LEED AP, is an Assistant Professor of Interior Design at Marymount University. He teaches a wide range of graduate and undergraduate courses including foundation studio, materials and methods studio, commercial design studio, furniture design, senior studio, computer drafting, construction documents, design communication, and thesis documentation. His research focuses on the application of pedagogical research in design education. He has over twelve years of professional experience in Architecture and Interior Design. He is the co-author of Hand Drawing for Designers: Communicating Ideas through Architectural Graphics and the author of Digital Drawing for Designers: A Visual Guide to AutoCAD.
