Kindergarten-Grade 3?A no-frills collection of 39 short stories that range in length from one to three pages. The selections include a mix of realism and fantasy, most of which are original, although some are retellings of folktales. While authors are credited for their work, illustrators are not, nor is any reference made to the Highlights issue in which the story first appeared. There is no index, no introduction, and no apparent organizational concept.
