About the Author
Susan Heyboer O'Keefe is the author of several books for children. A copy editor at a publishing house, she lives in northern New Jersey with her husband, her son and her two parrots.
Robin Spowart has illustrated many children's books, including many by his wife, Jeanne Modesitt. He illustrates greeting cards and lives in New Mexico.

And play they do, for these attentive, dressed-bear parents take turns enjoying their little cub throughout the day and, together, watch him fall sleep at night in his mother's arms.
