This third edition of the sought-after book presents the art of 43 leading international illustrators whose work covers a wide range of contemporary techniques, approaches, and subjects. A full six pages are devoted to profiling each artists' work, and essays by noted professionals provide a behind-the-scenes look at the ideas and techniques that underlie this fascinating, and essential, art. Readers will explore the importance of drawing in design; the different kinds of architectural drawing, including as a "legitimate art form"; and the importance of digital technology.
