From School Library Journal:
Grade 8 Up-A book that addresses the impact of violence against women, explores possible causes, and examines the legal system that tries to deal with all of its ramifications. The articles come from journals, newspapers, and book excerpts, and were written by professors of law, avowed feminists, avowed antifeminists, psychologists, newspaper staff writers, district attorneys, editors, and more. Viewpoints vary, but all tend to be persuasive in tone with some a bit more strident than others. The list of organizations to contact are defined as to what they stand for or viewpoint they represent. A most comprehensive resource, particularly for students preparing for a speech or debate.
