A new chapter--``Should Physicians Assist in Euthanasia?''--typifies the inherent modifications throughout a text that accommodates current developments and controversies in an ever-changing societal debate. The number of essays per chapter varies from four to eight; each chapter includes questions for consideration and concludes with a periodical bibliography. Gone are the ``Critical Thinking Activities'' of the earlier volume, but an appended ``For Further Discussion'' section poses three additional questions per chapter.
