Woodworking has followed Harvey throughout his entire life. He received a teaching degree and taught high school industrial arts. Many of the bank patterns in this book were developed as projects for his students. The Piggy Bank on page 40 was the first bank that Harvey designed specifically for his students. Currently retired, Harvey lives in Florida with his wife of 40 years. He enjoys making scrolled gifts for his family, especially his 10 grandchildren. In addition to substitute teaching in the local high school's industrial arts program, he is also an advisor on woodworking for the Florida chapter of the Blind American's Association.
Hide your pennies in these cleverly disguised and easy-to-make banks! Thieves will be hard-pressed to find the plugs that keep your money safe in these scroll saw and bandsaw banks.
