About the Author

Nina Buonaiuto-Cloyed grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2003 with a degree in University Studies. She currently works in Santa Fe as an elementary school teacher.John Buonaiuto-Cloyed grew up with horses in Riverside, Iowa. He attended Iowa Wesleyan College and graduated with a degree in Physical Education. They met high in an alpine meadow at the Philmont Boy Scout Ranch while employed there for the summer. John taught Nina the joys of riding. This is their first book.
