From Library Journal:
Think of this book as a condensed version of the Macintosh Bible . Its layout, text, and graphics are all in that hurly-burly style. Certainly, the Macintosh has become more complex in the last decade and will continue to do so. There will always be a need for a book like this, because the Macintosh seems to be a catalyst for this mix of humor, optimism, and factoids. Text and graphics are divided into four sections. In the first section, the authors give you an overview of the Mac and its "Ten Commandments." The heart of the book, however, is found in the next two sections on hardware and software, with a final reference section. There's no escaping opinions in this guide, and they're outrageous at times, i.e., the authors argue that software companies have less intelligence than French toast. If you don't care to lug the Macintosh Bible around, try this. It's never boring.
