Synopsis
Help students to become effective problem solvers! Students work in cooperative groups of four. By working with others, they become aware that there is no one way to work through a problem. The problems challenge students understanding of mathematical concepts and language and help them develop creative approaches in applying their understandings to everyday situations in which mathematics occurs. Activities are divided into the following sections: Numbers & Algebra, Geometry, and Measurement.
