Receive direction, inspiration, and healing when you take the collar off a favorite animal's natural powers! Animal Magick is the first book to present familiars from a European Pagan viewpoint. It shows you how to access the unique power of familiars―real or imagined animals―for magickal assistance, enhanced health, and spiritual growth. You don't need a pet or companion animal to have a familiar. Whether you collect glass animals, dream about snakes, or "talk" with an animal already, you can further develop this connection for extraordinary magickal results.
Animal Magick presents practical meditations, rituals, and power chants for enticing, befriending, understanding, and collaborating with familiars. Learn ways to attract a familiar, explore various types of familiars and discover which one works best for you, and learn how to recognize messages and guidance from your magickal companion.

Many of you reading this will have had pets for years. Some of you may consider them to be your familiars. In D. J. Conway's Animal Magick you'll discover new ways to learn from them (and other creatures) in order to achieve spiritual enlightenment and personal power.
The book includes explicit instructions on how to find familiars and work with them. You'll learn how to meditate and do magick with them. More than 100 animals are described and you will discover what powers and knowledge each can share with you.
Animal Magick shows you how your work with familiars can take on an even greater purpose that is true to the Pagan tradition of remembering and honoring your ancestors. That's because this is the first book to explore the subject of familiars from a European Pagan perspective. Now you can investigate ancient European Shamanic traditions — including your heritage, perhaps — that were destroyed during the Burning Times.
Another unique feature of this book is that for each animal Conway has included a special "power chant" to invoke that animal's natural and magickal attributes. This way, even if you are not meditating, doing a ritual, or going on a shamanic journey to the "otherworld," you can still call on your familiars to bring you the help and confidence you need.
Animal Magick shows you a powerful path to a more creative, more secure future. If you are looking to improve your life, you owe it to yourself to get this book.
