J. Larry Tyler, FACHE, FAAHC, FHFMA, CMPE, is the founder/president, Tyler & Company, Atlanta, a healthcare executive search firm. He began the firm in 1978 and has since conducted over 160 CEO searches for hospitals across the United States. In 2008, BusinessWeek magazine named him one of the 100 most influential executive search consultants in the world. Mr. Tyler is also an adjunct professor in the health administration programs at the University of Colorado Denver and the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Ala. He is also a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
