Synopsis
The International Encyclopedia of Elections is the first and only definitive work to survey elections in independent nations and describe the varied systems and processes in clear language understandable to any interested reader. About the Author
Editor-in-chief RICHARD ROSE is Professor and Director of the Centre for the Study of Public Policy at the University of Strathclyde. His writings have been translated into seventeen languages, and include Electoral Behaviour (1974), The International Almanac of Electoral History (three editions), Do Parties Make a Difference? (1984) and How Russia Votes (1997).
