About the Author

Jessica R. Adolino is assistant professor of political science at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where she teaches courses on Western European politics and International Affairs. Her research interests primarily lie in the area of British politics and has recently published a book in this area, Ethnic Minorities, Electoral Politics and Political Integration in Britain (1998).

Charles H. Blake is associate professor at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where he specializes in comparative politics international relations, comparative public policy, and research methods. His research agenda focuses primarily on political economy issues in Latin America and Europe. His work on comparative politics has been published in a variety of journals and he is currently conducting research on market-oriented economic reform in Argentina and Uruguay with a fellowship from the Organization of American States.
