About the Author

Greg S. Feltenberger, PhD, MBA, FACMPE, FACHE Greg Feltenberger is the Chief Executive Officer of Idaho Urologic Institute, a Meridian-based independent medical group comprised of three facilities which include a specialty care clinic and an ambulatory surgery center. He recently retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Medical Service Corps. Greg earned his undergraduate degree (Summa Cum Laude) with a specialty in Biomedical Equipment Technology in 1996 and then went on to pursue an MBA from Kent State University in 2000. Most recently, he received his doctorate in Health Service Research from Old Dominion University in 2012. His management style is founded on a passion for communication, collaboration, innovation and change management. David N. Gans, Senior Fellow Industry Affairs, MGMA-ACMPE Mr. Gans is a national authority on medical practice operations and health systems for MGMA-ACMPE. He is an educational speaker for the Association, authors a monthly column in the Association journal and serves MGMA-ACMPE members with a resource on all areas of medical group practice management. His work focuses on current issues of importance to medical practice executives. Mr. Gans received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the University of Notre Dame, a Master s of Science degree in Education from the University of Southern California, and a Master s of Science in Health Administration degree from the University of Colorado. Mr. Gans retired from the United States Army Reserve in the grade of Colonel, is a Certified Medical Practice Executive and a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
