This volume, with contributions by top graphics researchers and professionals, is devoted to computer graphics, interactive systems, and human-computer interaction. The paper contributions are from talks given at the annual Graphics Interface conference, now in its 34th year. Graphics Interface occupies a unique niche among conferences in that it seeks to both combine and bridge research topics in and across these areas. Beginning in 1969 as the “Canadian Man-Computer Communications Seminar” (CMCCS), it is the oldest regularly scheduled computer graphics and human-computer interaction conference.
