Synopsis
This resource will help teachers integrate multiple intelligences (MI) into their existing curriculum to produce a much deeper understanding of concepts and a higher level of skill development. Four practical models are explored: "The Year-Long Curriculum Journey," "Unit Stretching," "MI Learning Centers," and "Schoolwide Focus." Each model contains full instructions and a blank template, an example of the model at elementary, middle, and high school levels, academic objectives and outcomes for each example at each level, an evaluation of strengths and weaknesses for each model, and an overview or commentary.

About the Author
David Lazear is the founder of New Dimensions of Learning, an organization that helps train educators and businesspeople to apply cutting-edge research on multiple intelligences and other brain-based approaches to instruction and business. He is the author of numerous books, including Eight Ways of Teaching and Intelligence Builders for Every Student. He lives in Chicago.
