Synopsis
Bernard Jensen, who pioneered Iridology in the United States, presents a basic introduction to this science which analyzes the delicate structures of the iris to reveal and locate inflammation in the body.
Readers are given an explanation of how the chart works, including detailed illustrations of iris topography showing individual systems charts, and over two dozen color photographs of irises diagnosing stages of different ailments.
This book supports Jensen's belief that iridology is an important element in the total, holistic health care program.

About the Author
Bernard Jensen spent over sixty years as a pioneer in the holistic health field and operated his own health sanitariums in Altadena and Escondido, California, for over forty years. Jensen wrote and published over forty books including The Science and Practice of Iridology, Volume 1, which quickly became a classic in the field and established him as one of the world's top authorities on the subject.
In 1953 he was awarded the International Iridology Gold Medal in San Remo, Italy, and in 1982 he received the National Health Federation's Pioneer Doctor of the Year award.
