John Heagle is a priest, counselor and author, with more than 42 years of pastoral experience as a campus minister, college professor, pastor, and retreat director. In 1976 he was appointed the first director of the Office of Justice and Peace for his diocese. Since 1985 he has served as a licensed psychotherapist and co-director of Therapy and Renewal Associates (TARA), a counseling and consultation resource in the Pacific Northwest. He also teaches courses in the graduate School of Theology and Ministry at Seattle University. Fr. Heagle is the author of seven books on spirituality, ministry, and human relationships, and a co-author with Fran Ferder, FSPA, PhD, of three books. He is a frequent presenter at workshops, conferences, and retreats (almost every year at LACCD), and is engaged in national renewal ministry among clergy, career ministers, and other religious groups.
