Unfortunately, some of the projects shown here, such as refinishing wood floors, come with scant instructions. In contrast, Mair's inspiring work offers step-by-step instructions for preparing, painting, and finishing a floorcloth. Color photographs of professionals' cloths in a variety of styles will inspire amateur and experienced painters alike. Purchase Mair's title for public libraries and Coughlin's for interior design collections.
