Lilly Secilie Brandal was born in 1964 and lives in Oslo, Norway. She runs her own wool shop in Oslo called Strikkelilly, which she purchased from Bente Myhrer.
Bente Myhrer was born in 1946 and lives in Oslo, Norway. Bente started her first yarn shop in 1969, and never looked back; by 1991 she owned five shops. She has recently retired, planning to spend more time on traveling, gardening, cooking, sailing—and, of course, needlework.
