Have you ever pondered:
· Is God a Being, or the Being, taking care of everyone?
· If there is a God, then why isn't God obviously just in charge?
· Why do individuals who don t believe in God very often seem to have a relatively enjoyable life, and believers just as frequently suffer?
· If God is a Parent-Force, then why doesn't the commitment to God bring into your life evidence that you are being protected and sustained?
These are some of the questions that Avatar Adi Da asks those in attendance during the 1980s discourses presented on this CD. What unfolds is a lively consideration that you too can participate in, wherever or whenever you are, by listening to this CD.
You will hear Avatar Adi Da directly address the false presumption of God-as-Parent that is fundamental to conventional religion. He describes the hierarchical nature of existence, in which there are countless beings who cause effects.
Adi Da then proceeds to call every individual to take responsibility as a causer of effects, rather than presuming childish dependency on a Great Other . Such self-responsibility, he says, is required for gnosis or genuine experiential knowledge of the human condition, of the inherently love-blissful condition of all beings, and of the unique role of the spiritual adept in revealing that condition.
This world inheres in God, most certainly. There Is Only God. But that Realization is the expression of the gnosis that comes through self-transcendence. And only in the midst of such self-transcending gnosis are you transformed. Only in that case is your vision, or your view, transformed. And only in that case are you, as the causer of effects, transformed.

On November 27, 2008, Adi Da Samraj, departed from the body. He passed on to humankind a legacy of inexhaustible profundity and limitless Blessing-Power. Adi Da's primary gift is his own Eternal Transcendental Spiritual Being. The primary purpose of his human lifetime was to establish the means by which any and all beings could be truly connected to his Reality-State, in devotional communion with him. Thus, he worked with utmost intensity, throughout his entire life, to develop and establish his Transcendental Spiritual Way.
Adi Da's literary, philosophical, and practical writings consist of over sixty published books including The Knee of Listening, his Spiritual Autobiography; The Dawn Horse Testament, his magisterial revelation of the entire Spiritual Process from beginning to end; and The Aletheon, his final (and foremost) book. In addition to his writings, Adi Da gave thousands of hours of recorded discourse. Many discourses have been published by the Dawn Horse Press on CD and DVD.
Adi Da was a prolific artist, producing a remarkable body of work in different media. He was invited to show his work in a solo exhibition at the 2007 Venice Biennale, and also as part of the 2008 Winter in Florence, and his work was also shown in 2010 in New York City (Sundaram Tagore Gallery) and most recently in Amsterdam (Galerie Pien Radamachers) in 2013. Among the publications of Adi Da's art are The World As Light, Transcendental Realism, and The Spectra Suites.
Another dimension to Adi Da's far-reaching legacy is the social wisdom embodied in his book Not-Two Is Peace. In it he calls for the establishment of a Global Cooperative Forum that mobilizes everybody-all-at-once on the basis of recognizing the prior (or inherent) unity of the entire human family. He proposes that such a forum is the necessary and effective means for addressing the world's most pressing issues.
