Such a simple idea; now why didn't I think of that? Instead of laboriously marking quilting patterns on quilt tops, Scouler backs her quilts with interestingly patterned fabric, turns the quilt over, and quilts it from the bottom, using designs on the backing fabric to quilt by. Here she teaches quilters at any skill level to master this technique by completing a series of graded exercises.
