Andrew Coverdale is currently the offensive coordinator at Trinity High School in Louisville, Kentucky, where in two stints on the Shamrocks staff he has been a part of four state championship teams. Before assuming his present position in 2006, he served as the head football coach at Castle (IN) High School for three seasons. He has also been on the interscholastic football staffs at Brown County (IN), McClutcheon (IN), and Noblesville (IN), as well as serving on the staff as an assistant coach at Taylor University. A 1993 graduate of LSU, Coverdale is widely respected for his thorough understanding of offensive football and for his ability to teach players at all competitive levels. A much sought-after clinic speaker, he has written a number of well-received instructional books and has been featured on 11 instructional DVDs.
Dan Robinson is the head football coach at Northwestern (IN) High School, a position he assumed in 1999. This is Dan s second stint with the Tigers, having previously served in the same position at Northwestern from 1982-1994. A 1973 graduate of Ball State, he has also coached at Taylor University and North Central (IN) High School. Robinson is widely regarded for his extensive knowledge of the passing game.
The bunch package presented in this material introduces a fun and imaginative way to add a new look to your multiple formation look. Coaches Coverdale and Robinson have compiled one of the most complete outlines of this principle that I have seen. Its detail and comprehensive approach will be an excellent guide for you to use in implementing these concepts into your offense. We have used the bunch offense a great deal during my coaching career and always felt that it was a viable part of our complete offensive package. Whether you use multiple sets in your offensive scheme or are just looking for something new to add as a changeup to your normal offensive scheme, you will find The Bunch Attack a valuable part of your coaching library. --Brian Billick, ESPN Analyst, Former Head Coach, Baltimore Ravens
