About the Author

Matthew Supinski is one of the country’s premier steelhead/salmon guides and owner of Gray Drake Outfitters in Newaygo, Michigan. A former hotelier, he now is a freelance writer and photographer whose contributions include writings in American Angler, Flyfishing & Tying Journal, Fly Fisherman, Salmon/Steelhead Columnist and Regional Editor for Fly Fish America Magazine, Wild Steelhead & Salmon, Midwest Fly Fishing, and others.
