About the Author
Brenda Kaufmann graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in elementary education in 1992. She has taught second grade in Iowa for 11 years. When not teaching or writing, she enjoys spending time with her family and three large dogs, reading, long-distance running, playing the piano, listening to music and enjoying the beautiful Iowa outdoors.
