About the Author
Mabel Maney is the author of three books in the Nancy clue series, including The Case of the Good-for-Nothing Girlfriend and A Ghost in the Closet. More recently, she is the author of the new Jane Bond series from HarperCollins, including Kiss the Girls and Make Them Spy.

What happened to the conventful of nuns, presumed kidnapped, from which the visiting sister came? Where is Aunt Gertrude? Will our heroines escape the midnight prowler? the ticking time-bomb? And then there's the murder: will goody-good Cherry and her chums triumph? You bet, but along the way guileless Cherry has many peculiar things happen to her, all made shriekingly funny by her inability to distinguish drag queens and dykes from ordinary mortals.
