About the Author
Deanna Draper Buck originally wrote her simple versions of scripture stories as gifts for her family. She and her husband, George, live in Louisville, Kentucky. They have eight children and eight grandchildren. Now she teaches gospel stories to young children everywhere through her paperback and board books, including My First Book of Mormon Stories, My First New Testament Stories, My First Church History Stories, and more.
Jerry Harston's illustrations help children visualize these meaningful first stories.
