The author of this book, and the advert, was a divorced single parent. She had raised two daughters and a son. One marriage had been enough. She was sad and skeptical about herself and her marriage, preferring, in her words, to stay single and safe. Driving down a Texas freeway one day, minding her own business, she heard a voice, which said to her You are going to buy a boat and sail around the world.
