About the Author

Alfredo Giacon has been sailing since 1993 with his wife Nicoletta aboard of their 55-foot JANCRIS. He contributes to yachting magazines. He took part in the Millennium Odyssey, sailing around the world, and finished in third place. When not sailing, he lives in Padua, Italy.
