Sally Terry's quiltmaking path began at the age of three. Throughout her childhood, she made all her own clothing and even tailored her own suits. At high school graduation, the only clothes in her closet that she had not made were a jacket, a pair of denims, and a bathing suit. Her only lament is that she never got to shop for clothes. After graduating from Drake University, Sally attended graduate school in multimedia at the University of Grenoble in France.
Two new guides offer quilts excellent basic details and tips. Sally Terry's Pathways To Better Quilting is an unusual oversized presentation of five shapes for machine quilt patterns. Learn to choose and quilt machine patterns through Terry's review of five simple questions about fabric and quilting decisions determined by the quilt top. 75 patterns for quilters with traditional sewing machines...and hand quilters alike make PTBQ a classic. -The Midwest Book Review
