About the Author
KARLA JEAN HUSBY is James Henry Avery's great-great-granddaughter. She lives in Marysville, Washington. Eric J. Wittenberg is the author of Gettysburg's Forgotten Cavalry Actions. He lives in Columbus, Ohio.
