The book contains complete coverage of ActiveX Data Objects (ADO), including ADO Connections, ADO Recordsets, and DataReports. There is a chapter on SQL database queries and updates, as well as on Internet programming, including the Winsock control, dynamic HTML, HTML Help, and the Internet Transfer control. The text also includes two chapters on creating ActiveX DLL components, ActiveX controls, and data-aware ActiveX servers.
