About the Author

Jeremy Hazel, Plexus International, is an experienced Trainer and Curriculum Developer for ISO 9000, ISO/TS/IATF 16949, AS9100, AS9145, ISO 13485, ISO 14000, Core Tools, GD&T, and Problem Solving as well as specializing in core tools application and utilization. He received his Master s Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Quality Management from Upper Iowa University, a Bachelor s Degree in Corporate Finance and Organizational Management from Central Washington University, and currently works for Plexus International. Mr. Hazel was the lead author in the ISO 9001:2015 Memory Jogger, the IATF 16949:2016 Memory Jogger, and the ISO 13485 Memory Jogger, as well as the Risk-Based Thinking Memory Jogger, all published by GOAL/QPC.
Duane Hamill, President/CEO, Hamill Improvement Strategies, has more than 30 years experience in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) and Automotive manufacturing industries. He has served as Plant Manager, Quality Manager, Quality Engineering Manager, and Quality and Manufacturing Engineer for GE Aircraft Engines, Hughes Aircraft, Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems, and Eaton Industries, as well as suppliers of products and services to the A&D and Automotive industries. Duane has extensive experience that includes training and development as the Director of the Mississippi Quality Awards process (based on the National Baldrige Quality Criteria for Performance Excellence), which includes the training and development of more than 400 examiners. Furthermore, Duane has been a member of the board of examiners for the Baldrige ational Quality Award process for 10 years, participating as an examiner and senior examiner in the 1990 s, followed by roles as Team Leader and Alumni in the 2000 s, while serving as Master Examiner in 2019. Duane has a bachelor s degree in Management for Business and Industry from Lesley University, with completion of MBA curriculum at Mississippi College School of Business.
Jason Harrison has a bachelor s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and has applied his 10+ years of military training as a leader to support over 80 companies as a trainer, developer, and auditor for ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, VDA 6.3, Core Tools, GD&T and Risk-Based thinking. He currently specializes in transitioning organizations from their current management systems into leaner, results-based systems through the deployment of systems, goals, and teamwork. Mr. Harrison was the co-author of the Risk-Based Thinking Memory Jogger and has guided companies in Aerospace, ISO, and Automotive to apply risk methodologies throughout their organizations.
