As might be expected, the promo sheet goes overboard in its hype; nevertheless, there's no doubting the creativity and technical mastery of the photographer. Makos is an American photographer and visual artist. He is known for his photographs of queer icons and pop stars, and of the male body. Makos apprenticed with photographer Man Ray, and assisted and collaborated with artist Andy Warhol.
