Synopsis
These 25 selections allow the reader to sample the multiple voices contributing to the creation of knowledge through rhetoric. Exposure to the theorists' ideas in their own words provides a richer, more meaningful understanding. While the same number of pages are devoted to each theorist, in some cases one lengthy essay is included that captures the core ideas of a theorist; in other instances, several examples are offered. The extensive bibliography of works about the theorists included in the anthology is a valuable resource.
