About the Author:

STUART FISCHER, M.D., a graduate of Yale University, completed his residency at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, and served as an Attending Physician at Cabrini Medical Center in New York City. He also worked with the late Dr. Robert Atkins as the Associate Medical Director of the Atkins Center. His expertise in alternative medicine, nutrition, and weight loss, is complemented by his strong traditional, hospital-based education. Author of The Little Book of Big Medical Emergencies, he now runs the Park Avenue Diet Center in New York City.

Tinsley Mortimer’s generosity, elegance, and keen busi­ness sense earned her a well deserved spot at the top of the New York City social world. Born in Richmond, Virginia, she graduated from Columbia University in New York City and has worked in major fashion and public relations organizations. A Park Avenue resident, she is truly “in the know” when it comes to interpersonal skills and charm.
